The Bromsgrove Society - Pride, Preservation, Progress

Hi all - I'm Leigh Walker (MR) and I live in Bromsgrove (Sidemoor actually). I'm really interested in local history and I love this little town of ours!! I volunteer regularly for the National Trust (Croome Court); I have volunteered at Avoncroft Museum for a short peroid some time back and just recently I've been elected to the Birmingham Conservation Trusts board of Directors!!

Agreed, new website is much better, don't actually think I went on the previous one more than once! Great to have records and photographs as well.

Simon, its great to see you on this forum - please send my best wishes to all at Avoncroft, you do a fantastic job of promoting Bromsgrove and it's rich history.

Actually I never really got to say thank you for letting me start my heritage journey at Avoncroft; so thanks to yourself and Rachel!!

Hopefully we can spark some healthy debate on here over time..........!
