Hi everyone,
As you may of heard Avoncroft Museum has acquired a nail maker's cottage from Bromsgrove which we are in the process of researching for display.
We are very keen for some metal detectorists who have all their own equipment and have a rough idea of what they're doing to volunteer some time and scan the demolition site before it is built upon.
Don't expect prized artefacts but we would like to find some hand made nails or the scraps from their production if there are any around.
There may be nothing and I don't know if their is any interference on site that will effect things but if anyone is interested please contact me and we will see what we can arrange.
