The Church, which is a landmark building to the north side of Bromsgrove, was designed by local architect John Cotton and is a Grade 2 listed building. The interior features polychromatic brickwork and the church fittings include many items manufactured in oak by craftsman of the town employed by Bromsgrove Guild including a bishop's chair, altar, rood beam, sedilia with canopy, panelling and rails. There are also decorative wrought iron gates and screen which were produced by the Guild.
There is a fine collection of stained glass including memorials to local people such as Aneurin Evans, a school master who was killed in action in the First World War. These works were designed by local artists – A.J. Davies, A.E. Lemmon, A. Clarke, the Camm family and also John Hardman of Birmingham. They are described in the Bromsgrove Society book "The Bromsgrove Guild".
Successful fund raising by the Church and a grant from English Heritage has permitted completion of extensive repairs to the fabric of the building. The Bromsgrove Society made a contribution towards these repairs and representatives of the Church have expressed their appreciation to the Society.
