The Bromsgrove Society completed its programme of
town signs, which began in 2002, by unveiling the latest on Worcester
Road on 17th April 2010. There are now town signs to be found on
the main entrances to Bromsgrove - Birmingham Road, Stourbridge Road,
Kidderminster Road, Worcester Road, New Road and Stratford Road.
The unveiling was carried out by the Chairman of
Bromsgrove District Council, Chris Scurrell.
The new sign was funded by the Bromsgrove Society
with the Council providing the concrete base.
The picture on the new sign is taken from an
original painting by the Worcester artist, David Birtwhistle, and
depicts Tudor House which is located in New Road.
Final Town Sign Unveiled.
